Full of protein, fiber, and nutrients to keep you full and energized. Easy to make in under 10 minutes!

These energy bites are the perfect snack for your mid-afternoon slump, before, or after a workout, or as a guilt-free dessert. The mix of protein, fiber, and healthy fat will keep you full and help stabilize your blood sugar.
Ingredients
1 cup nuts (almonds, cashews, walnuts, or any combination of them)
1 cup oats
1 cup dates
1/4-1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
2 tbsp honey (or agave or maple syrup if vegan)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional add ins
dried fruit
other nuts or seeds
cinnamon
protein powder

Directions
Add nuts, oats, dates, honey, and vanilla extract to a food processor
Blend until all ingredients are chopped finely and can be formed into a ball. If the mixture seems dry, add water 1 tbsp at a time. Depending on the honey and dates you use, you may need up to 3 tbsp of water to make the mixture form balls.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Wet hands (trust me, otherwise the mixture will stick like crazy to your hands) and form balls. It makes about 15.
Store in the fridge in an airtight container.
